Food at Kingsley
Kingsley school achieved the healthy school award in September 2017, all our meals are prepared and cooked on site by staff. Kingsley has recently become a pudding free school and only provide food which contains natural sugar or are low in sugar. We also offer all children fruit during the day for them to enjoy as a healthy snack.
Kingsley School provides a daily breakfast club from 8.15 to 8.40 every week day. This club costs 30p per child per day. Entry to the Breakfast club is through the main school entrance. All children from reception up to Year 6 are all welcome.
At Kingsley we support the Magic Breakfast charity who aim to end hunger as a barrier to education in the UK. They donate healthy breakfast items such as bagels, fruit juice and cereal for our children.
We offer a hot and cooked food to all the children at Kingsley. The food menu runs on a 3 week cycle and is changed every term.
Some children at Kingsley chose to bring a pack lunch to school.
