Welcome to Reception 

We are class Reception Williams

We are taught by our teacher Mrs Williams and our learning support assistants, Mrs Stephenson, Miss Wilcox and Miss Gardiner. Our class is RW.

Things to know:

Uniform - children are expected to come into school wearing appropriate uniform and bring in their book bags once a week. During winter terms make sure children have warm clothes and waterproofs.

Home reading books - these will be changed a minimum of once a week, reading logs should be signed to let teachers know children have read. 

Mondays -  forest school and P.E. They need boots, warm clothes and in the summer term will need a P.E kit. 

As a school we follow Monster Phonics which is an extremely important part of your child's education. There are many videos on YouTube that you can watch to help you at home with the pronunciation of the sounds and actions.

'Things to remember as we head into the Winter months ...'

• Every day pupils should come to school wearing full school uniform - during winter months please make sure children have warm clothes and waterproofs, including a hat and gloves.

• On Monday's children go to forest school and have P.E. They need wellington boots, warm clothes and, from January 2026, a P.E kit to change into. 

• Please label all clothing with your child's name.
