Welcome to2S! Our class teacher is Ms Swain and our learning support assistant is Mrs Ardani. Mr Wright also teaches our class on Mondays and Mrs Smith teaches our RE lessons on a Thursday. Our intervention teacher is Miss Williams.

In 2S we are curious, hard-working and fun-loving. We always try our best and know that mistakes help us to learn. Above all, in our class we are expected to be kind and respectful to ourselves and others.

Useful things to know:

P.E.

P.E. is on Monday and Tuesday and all children need to bring a full kit to school to change in to on both days.

Our P.E. kit is a white t-shirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms and black P.E. pumps.

Homework

Homework is sent out each week on Friday. It will be a piece of Maths or English work as well as a list of spellings to practise. Children also have logins to practise their skills online using the sites below.

Reading books

Reading books are sent home every Friday and should be returned by the following Friday morning. Children should practise reading their home reading books daily with an adult to support them with their fluency and comprehension. Children are also welcome to choose books from our class reading corner to read for pleasure.
