Welcome to 2CJ. Our class teacher is Mrs Carpen-Juckes and our learning support assistants are Miss Niven, Mrs Ireland and Mrs Hughes.

In our classroom

In our class we have created a set of ‘Class Agreements’ which we think make us the best we can possibly be!

1. 3 Before me
2. Look after our learning environments
3. Follow instructions the first time
4. Thumbs on hearts
5. Use kind hands, kind feet and kind hand
6. Always have a go

P.E

We have PE on Wednesday with Mr O'Shea and Ms Smith. Full PE Kit must be brought in a bag on this day- white top, black/blue shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms and trainers. 

Book bags and homework

Each Friday, Year 2 are expected to:

1. Take book bags home and read over the weekend
2. Learn their weeks spelling (located in bookbag)
3. Complete any homework that is given that week (also in book bags!)

Children can bring their book bag in as many days as they like, if they want to change their book more often.

 Please sign your child's reading record to show that they have read.

After school clubs

Across the school, after school clubs are so important, it’s all about encouraging children to do what they are most interested in – after school! After school clubs change every half term.

Monday        - Gymnastics/Art club

Tuesday       - All stars girls cricket          

Wednesday – Drumming

Thursday     - TBC

Friday          - TBC
