Class 6M
Welcome to 6M!
My name is Miss Mac and I work alongside Ms. Idama.
Year 6 is the top of our school and are the role models for all other year groups at Kingsley.
In Year 6, all pupils work hard throughout the year completing class work, homework and online resources. We are a team in 6 and teachers and pupils work together to achieve our dreams.
Remember, be resilient, be brave and you will soar.
P.E. - Every Monday and Friday.
P.E. kit will need to be present and correct - white top, black/blue shorts or tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Homework - Given out on Friday and expected back on Monday.
Book Bags - Give out Friday and expected back on Monday.
Reading - A vital part of Year 6 (and preparation for exams) is reading. Children are expected to read at home and complete their online Reading Plus - 5 green books a week plus vocabulary and visual skills. Complete by Friday.
Maths - Another vital part to Year 6 is completing our times tables on TTRS. Each child is timed on how quickly they can answer their question. The more they practise, the better they become.
After-school Clubs - a HUGE part of Kingsley like are our after-school clubs. We actively encourage children to take part as a way to relax but to also learn the importance of team and providing a wide variety of new skills.
