PSHE at Kingsley Primary School
At Kingsley Primary School, through our ethos of "Learning Together, Respecting Each Other", we aim to develop children's personal, social, health and economic education by ensuring that our PSHE curriculum provides strong opportunities for learning about today's world and how to manage feelings, relationships and choices to maintain a balanced life and lifestyle.
Our aim is to promote the spiritual, economic, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils of our school and in society. We prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. We promote children's understanding of current issues that are relevant to PSHE through discussions and opportunities to make sense of any difficulties and challenges that they may face during later life. It also helps keeps them safe.

Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
Our curriculum is fully compliant with the statutory guidance. Please see sections #65 and #66 (Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education). After discussions with stakeholders, we choose to teach sex education through our Science curriculum so there is no right to withdraw your child from these lessons.
