Reception A
Welcome to our class - RA - We are 'The Bears'
We are the Bears! Our teacher is Miss Adamson and our learning support assistants are Ms Burke and Mrs Lefter.
Follow our page as we embark on our journey into education.
On this page you will find key information and links for children, parents or carers, to access, as well as photos of our learning journey together this year!
'Things to remember...'
- Every day pupils should come to school wearing full school uniform - during winter months please make sure children have warm clothes and waterproofs, including a hat and gloves.
- Book bags travel between home and school each day. Books will be changed each week, reading logs should be signed to let teachers know children have read at home too.
- On Tuesday's children go to forest school and P.E. They need wellington boots, warm clothes and, from January 2024, a P.E kit to change into.
- Please label all clothing with your child's name.

We made boats at home
Weeks beginning 19th and 26th September
For the past two weeks we have been reading the story Mr Gumpy’s Outing. The children made boats at home with their parents/carers and we carried out a science experiment in school to see which boats floated and which sank. Before testing the boats the children made predictions and after testing them they recorded their individual results.
