Welcome to 2G!
Our names are Mr Gordon and Mrs Fealey. Our additional teacher is Miss Rice, who runs the afternoon interventions and helps in English lessons.
In our class we have created a set of ‘Class Agreements’ which we think make us the best we can possibly be!
- Be resilient
- Have fun
- Be respectful
- Keep our classroom tidy
- Be safe
In 2G we are all about being fair and respectful to everyone - pupil and adult alike! We know this will prepare us for when we are older!
We know that Year 2 is a busy year, so we know that we are expected to try our best at all times and most of all – set a high expectation of ourselves!
This is on Tuesday and Wednesday (make sure to bring your P.E kit!)
Each Friday, Year 2 are expected to :
- Take book bags home and read over the weekend
- Learn their weeks spelling (located in bookbag)
- Complete any homework that is given that week (also in book bags!)
Book bags are given out to pupils on Friday for the weekend and must be brought back on Monday to ensure that your child has a chance to read with the teacher or LSA throughout the week.
Please sign your child's reading record to show that they have read that week.
If you are unsure about any logins or how to access Bug club/TTrockstars please speak to Mr Gordon or Mrs Fealey for support.
After school clubs
Across the school, after school clubs are so important, it’s all about encouraging children to do what they are most interested in – after school! After school clubs change every half term.
Monday - Computer club
Tuesday - Dance club
- Forest school club
Wednesday - Drum club
Thursday - No club
Friday - No club
If you are unsure about any after school clubs provided to Year 2, speak to the class teacher.
